Fashion Show & Mobile Pledge EventToday’s Hope

Goal: Solicit additional charitable donations via SMS.
Execution: Event attendees pledged donations via SMS. Upon pledge completion, donor received completion link to PayPal Mobile via SMS, as well as a PayPal donation link via email. Organization accessed real-time report to monitor pledges and donation completion, and followed up via email, SMS, and/or phone call with donors who have not completed their donations.
Results: 32% of attendees made a mobile pledge in addition to the charitable entry fee they paid to attend the event.
