About This Role

Billing Management

• Oversee the invoicing of Mobility and IoT customers, including recurring monthly service charges, implementation fees, and SIM card orders.

• Ensure customer invoices are generated accurately and delivered on time.

• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and customer invoicing issues.

• Partner with development teams to identify, prioritize, and implement enhancements to billing and invoicing systems.

Taxation Management

• Maintain and manage upstream tax-exempt status documentation and compliance requirements with AT&T and other telecommunications providers.

• Own downstream tax exemption processes and documentation for customers.

• Create, configure, maintain, and audit customer tax profiles within the CereTax platform.

• Coordinate monthly tax reporting activities and deliver required files and data to tax service providers.

• Ensure billing and tax calculations are aligned with applicable state, local, and federal telecommunications tax requirements.

Customer Support & Compliance

• Lead customer-facing discussions related to billing, taxation, exemptions, and compliance matters.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for billing and tax-related escalations.

• Manage documentation and records required to support tax and compliance activities.

• Work cross-functionally to ensure customer accounts remain compliant with contractual and regulatory requirements.

Regulatory Compliance

• Serve as the primary liaison with regulatory compliance vendors and consultants.

• Coordinate regulatory reporting activities and ensure timely completion of compliance obligations.

• Maintain awareness of regulatory changes impacting Mobility and IoT services.

• Support internal audits and compliance reviews by providing required documentation and data.

Accounts Payable

• Own the accounts payable process for vendor accounts.

• Review, validate, and process vendor invoices for payment.

• Maintain vendor records and ensure timely and accurate payment of vendors.

• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues.

• Monitor vendor payment schedules and support cash management and financial reporting activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Operations, Telecommunications, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Experience in billing operations, telecommunications finance, taxation, accounts payable, or regulatory compliance.
  • Knowledge of telecommunications taxation and tax exemption processes preferred.
  • Experience working with billing systems, tax engines (such as CereTax), and financial processes.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer-facing presentation abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
