What happened
CSL Group acquired SIMPL Wireless, a Duluth, Georgia-based IoT eSIM connectivity provider, establishing a North American base for its critical-connectivity business. The deal adds SIMPL's EverSIM multi-carrier eSIM, Compass connectivity-management platform, local team and existing U.S. carrier relationships. SIMPL will continue serving its customers, carriers and partners as a CSL Group company. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Why it matters
For IoT service providers, resellers and enterprise connectivity buyers, the acquisition brings U.S. distribution and eSIM management into a larger managed-connectivity group. Combining SIMPL's carrier relationships and platform with CSL's resilience technology could broaden cross-border sourcing options and simplify SIM lifecycle operations. Buyers should verify integration timelines, carrier coverage and contractual service commitments rather than assume the combined capabilities are immediately available everywhere.
