What happened
Nokia has finalised the sale of its fixed wireless access (FWA) customer premises equipment business to Inseego, completing the asset transfer announced April 30, 2026. The deal also centralises more FWA engineering and scale under a single public company, increasing the likelihood of product roadmaps, platform integrations, and commercial bundles aimed at carriers and channel partners. Nokia’s explicit funding for interoperability and the planned technology collaboration signal a cooperative vendor posture rather than a clean strategic break, but integration risk and execution by Inseego will determine how quickly partners can rely on a unified stack.
