What happened
Telit acquired Mobilogix, a California-based IoT solutions house specializing in custom device engineering, certification and cloud integration across automotive, asset tracking and industrial applications. Terms were not disclosed. The deal landed a month after Telit's transformative combination with Thales's cellular IoT business.
Why it matters
Modules were commoditizing, so Telit bought its way up the stack: design services, certification and device management are where IoT margins actually live. For enterprise buyers the pitch became one throat to choke from silicon to cloud — the same full-solution logic driving consolidation across the entire IoT connectivity landscape.
