What happened
Wireless Logic acquired Singapore-headquartered Blue Wireless, a provider of managed LTE and 5G wireless WAN connectivity for enterprises across Asia-Pacific and beyond. Terms were not disclosed. The deal gave the UK-based IoT connectivity group an operating base and enterprise customer relationships across Asia-Pacific.
Why it matters
This was Wireless Logic's clearest signal that its roll-up ambitions were global, not just European. Enterprise wireless WAN — branch connectivity delivered over cellular instead of fixed lines — pulls IoT MVNOs into competition with traditional telcos for enterprise budgets, and Asia-Pacific was the region where none of the European consolidators yet had scale.
