What happened
Wireless Logic acquired Webbing, an Israel-founded provider of global eSIM and multi-network data connectivity for enterprises, travel and IoT deployments. Terms were not disclosed. Webbing's eSIM orchestration platform and worldwide carrier agreements extended the group's footprint beyond its European heartland.
Why it matters
eSIM orchestration was becoming the strategic layer of IoT connectivity — the ability to swap carrier profiles over the air breaks the lock-in that traditional roaming agreements depend on. By buying Webbing, Wireless Logic acquired that capability rather than building it, keeping pace as enterprise buyers began demanding localization and network flexibility as table stakes.
